Voyage In Parenting

Program ©

The Voyage In Parenting (VIP) Class is a non-traditional parenting class offered in-person and virtually. This class encompasses traditional childrearing skills but has a robust intention to encompass structured ethical and moral renegade philosophical and psychological ideologies from distinguished mental health and wellbeing practitioners. It provides a conduit which allows participants to explore parenting from a macro/micro, socio-historical, and person-centered perspective.

This class is not only a corrective-response to what appears to be a degenerated state of parenting in recent decades, but also a multi-class environment that takes place over the course of several weeks and garners a corrective-experience to enhance participants ability to address the results of their own parenting experience (i.e. how they were/are raised) as a vehicle to enhance who they are as parents. Subject matter addressed within these classes are, but not limited to the impact of trauma, violence and abuse, confidential personal history, nutrition, finances, spirituality, semantics, psychiatric issues, addiction, human development, social connections, and much more.
